Gas Street Social has brought back their enticing igloos complete with fairy lights, comfy blankets, and delicious grub, taking your evening of drinks on a chilly bench up a notch to become a memorable and cosy winter night out. In these dining globes, guests can enjoy a sit-down meal and opt for either their seasonal set menu (like the two- or three-course menu featuring winter cocktails), or enjoy classics from Gas Street Social’s à la carte menu, which offers everything from flat-iron steak and chips to plant-based options such as their falafel and five bean chilli tacos. Better yet, you can also be the DJ in these Gas Street Social igloos as you can can bang on your favourite festive playlist and enjoy your own tunes through the restaurant’s Bluetooth speaker.

2. Winterlandia
Adding to the festive cheer is a new bar that makes for the most cosy and perfect setting, allowing you to put your feet up after a spot of Christmas shopping. Winterlandia features chalet-style huts, igloos as well as an enormous tipi to provide you with both shelter and a place for a festive tipple or two. The alpine-esque bar winter wonderland pop-up bar will be outside the Bullring throughout the festive season and will be serving mugs of mulled cider and mulled wine as well as plenty of other drinks like decadent and boozy hot chocolates, wine, beer and spirits.

3. Sky By The Water
Escape the cold by snuggling up in one of Sky By The Water’s secret garden pods this festive season. Choose from one of their wintery-clad pods hidden up on the terrace located on the fifth floor of Resorts World Birmingham. Enjoy a winter wonderland escape on the bar and restaurant’s terrace which transports you into an elegant and cosy world decked in comfy chairs, fleecy blankets and Christmas lighting. Peek through the pod window and watch the world go or head to the balcony for a view of the water and beyond with a winter cocktail in hand. 5. The Canal House
Revamping their fabulous alfresco space with a festive flair for winter, The Canal House has gone all out for the colder months with their Birra Moretti Winter Village, which includes cute rows of rosy red huts with stunning fairy lights and mini heaters to keep guests warm and festive in the colder months. Guests can enjoy gorgeous food such as hanging kebabs or chocolate orange cookie dough, alongside fizz, mulled wine, warm spiced cider or whatever tickles your tastebuds. To secure one of these cosy huts by the water at The Canal House, guests must pay £5.25 per person and will receive a refreshing pint of Birra Moretti on arrival.
