Santa Claus may be coming to town, but first – we’ve got a Miracle on Heath Mill Lane to witness. Opening for the very first time in Birmingham, a brand new Christmas-themed beer garden is bringing sacks of Christmas spirit to the city this year, with festive décor at every turn.
The team at Birmingham’s oldest pub, The Old Crown are ready to get you into the festive spirit with their winter beer gardens this December, which is free for all to enjoy. The gardens will play host to lots of exciting events throughout the festive period, expect Christmas quizzes, live music, DJs every weekend, festive cocktails and warming winter drinks.
After missing a year of celebrations, the team at The Old Crown can’t wait to welcome everyone down this year for a proper Christmas celebration. The heated and covered garden will be hosting the likes of The Peep Show Xmas Quiz, Miracle on Heath Mill Lane – a free alternative Christmas party, Ash Sheehan’s Irish Christmas and Rafiki’s Cuisine Christmas Special!
Miracle on Heath Mill Lane, taking place on two nights, December 10 and 17, and will feature live music, festive cocktails and DJs. On the 10th, there’ll be live music from a Santa Brass Band and DJ Liam Roberts and on the 17th, music from Bostin’ Brass and DJ Jordan Lott.
Offering both festive food and drink for guests to enjoy, visitors are invited to snuggle up in the Old Crown beer gardens while taking in the twinkling Christmas lights, with Christmas trees and boughs of holly bringing plenty of winter cosiness to the venue.
Alongside all of this going on in the gardens, The Old Crown will also be serving their festive menu right up until December 23. Enjoy a traditional Christmas in a traditional Birmingham pub by tucking into the likes of turkey ballotine, stuffing, pigs in blankets and meat gravy with all the trimmings; mince pies; and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.
