Prepare for your mind to be blown by these bakes. Or are they?

Ben Cullen, aka The Bakeking, starred on Channel 4’s Extreme Cake Makers making deceiving illusion cakes. With The Great British Bake Off returning to our screens, now has never been a better time to get some baking inspiration. You never know, you might make it to an Extra Slice!

These mind-bending illusion cakes made by Ben are so real that some go as far as revolting! I’m sure it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Remember to swipe for the reveal!

How do you like your eggs in the morning? Fried? Scrambled? Poached? Or caked?

Don’t make eye contact. How does he create those scales?

You wouldn’t baked bean it!

Anyone else genuinely think this was picked straight from the patch?

Forget the emoji, this has brought another whole new meaning to an aubergine (or eggplant-this one does have egg in).

Fancy a slice of tortoise? As far as we know no animals were harmed in the making of this.

Check out these crêpes!

If the real kind wasn’t revolting enough…

And last but not least… When I say last, I mean possibly the last time you’ll eat a roast dinner.
