Oh boy! Disney fans rejoice, you can now visit a brand-new shopping destination store in Birmingham. Opening today (Wednesday, July 29, 2026), the new Disney Store space has launched at Selfridges—stocking official Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars products.
Birmingham’s last permanent Disney Store closed at the Bullring in 2021. But following a hugely successful festive pop-up inside Selfridges Birmingham last Christmas, we saw a strong demand for more in-person Disney shopping experiences in the West Midlands.
The new store offers an immersive shopping experience where fans of all ages can explore a carefully curated range of official Disney, Pixar, MARVEL and Star Wars™ products, including apparel, accessories, stationery, plush, collectibles and dress-up collections inspired by some of Disney’s most-loved stories and characters.
The opening was marked with the iconic Disney Store Key Ceremony, which will also take place each day across opening weekend. To celebrate the launch, Selfridges Unlocked members spending £50 or more in store from Saturday, August 1 to Sunday, August 2 will receive a Disney and Pixar Toy Story Lotso plush keyring mystery box, while stocks last. Selfridges Unlocked is free to join.
Guests visiting the new store will also be among the first in the Midlands to shop the return of the much-loved Selfridges Plush Collection. The collection features the iconic yellow Disney Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh plush, which return following a sell-out previous release.
