Hundreds of thousands of dahlias are set to bloom just 45 minutes from Birmingham this August. The stunning floral display will spread across a seasonal field in Worcestershire’s Wychbold—with over 60 varieties creating what’s being described as a “living landscape of colour” at Webbs Garden Centre.
In May, more than 5,000 dahlia tubers were planted for the Flora Fields at Webbs Garden Centre, and are expected to produce at least 200,000 flowers across the summer season. Flowering from July to October, this immersive experience, shaped entirely by nature’s rhythm, will evolve week by week, as different varieties peak.
Flora Fields will be open to the public from Saturday, August 15, 2026, for approximately seven weeks, with tickets on sale now—with Webbs Clubcard members getting free access throughout the season, and those not yet signed up can still join online or in store.
What can I do at the Flora Fields?
You will not only be able to explore one of the UK’s most striking flower plantings. But photographic installations will be positioned throughout the field, including the iconic hot pink 1947 David Brown Cropmaster tractor and floral archway, and, new for 2026, neon lights and a giant hot air balloon installation.
Guests can enjoy a range of PYO (pick-your-own) flower experiences, or pre-order seasonal picnics to enjoy among the dahlias. Freshly prepared brunch boxes, grazing selections, and seasonal treats can even be paired with a drinks menu featuring G&Ts, prosecco, rosé, low and no-alcohol options, and soft drinks.
For a more exclusive visit, guests can also book the private luxury Flora Fields Horsebox, offering a stunning view of the field and a unique setting for birthdays, anniversaries, engagements or proposals. Or just a gorgeous setting for a summer’s day out.
