Practise your batting skills as a unique cricket bar has arrived in the city where Brummies can swing into action. The world’s first social cricket entertainment experience, Sixes, has set up its fourth clubhouse at Birmingham’s Mailbox and the thrill of the game might just leave you bowled over.
Combining the classic game of cricket with the tradition of boozing with friends, the new venue will provide a unique social backdrop for those looking to ‘eat, drink and bat’ – with state-of-the-art batting nets available to hire by the hour. Following its success in London’s Fulham and Fitzrovia, plus Manchester, the new opening in Birmingham marks Sixes first venture to the Midlands and is now available to book.
Guests will be challenged to test their batting skills against a BatFast Cricket Simulator and compete with their friends on a global leaderboard, all alongside enjoying their fantastic menu of food and drink. Open to all ages and abilities, the fun new space is set to be the perfect spot for a post-work social or weekend activity – thanks to its competition and addictive nature that brings the whole group together.
Sixes boasts a BBQ-inspired menu which will be served both indoors and outside, with twists on classic grub such as the Low and Slow Beef Topside Mini Buns, Overnight smoked Whiskey Glazed Shortrib in Bourbon BBQ and so much more. To accompany, guests will be able to enjoy craft beers, shotbats and aptly-named cocktails such as Eton Mess, Ashes Manhattan, Sixes Fruit Cup and Tea Time featuring Yorkshire Tea.
Sixes Cricket Club also recently launched the world’s first UV cricket experience at some its venues and it’s absolutely glowing, as well as virtual reality cricket where you step into the world of professional cricket with customised commentary and thousands of fans cheering you on.
