The villa has a fresh new look for 2021.

Love Island is officially back for 2021, a clear indication that the Earth is healing after a year and a half completely shaken up by the pandemic. Kicking off tonight on ITV, we’re so ready for our lives to be immersed in ‘quick chats’ on the terrace, bombshell recouplings and the sweet, sweet sound of Islanders screaming “I’VE GOT A TEEEEEXT!”.

Returning after a year off, ITV has given the luxury Majorca villa a brand new look ahead of tonight’s long-awaited premiere – and they’ve even given fans a proper sneak peek ahead of the show’s return.

While the villa has definitely changed quite a bit since we last saw it, the format of the show that we know and love hasn’t – so fans can expect the return of the dramatic firepit scenes this year, albeit, with a whole new swanky look. Going for a luxury all-white theme, ITV has given the decking a new lick of paint for this summer.

The main bedroom has got a brand new colour scheme, too, complete with some fruity new artwork (and suggestive bananas and peaches, because of course).

A new addition for 2021, guests will be able to enjoy the ‘Dog House’ – which consists of a lonely bed outside of the communal bedroom which will likely be used quite a bit by both the lads of the villa when their heads inevitably turn and 1000% by the girls when they have some hot gossip to decipher.

The day beds are back, too, which have seen a ton of action over the years and are sure to provide some memorable moments during this season, too. Anyone else seriously craving a nap in the sun right here, right now?

Islanders will also be able to take a dip in the stunning infinity pool that looks over rural Majorca, which has been a firm fixture over the years and remains unchanged for this year’s series.

Elsewhere in the villa, the Hideaway is making its romantic return, with a brand new plush look for 2021. Continuing with its ‘sexy’ theme, the new look boasts a neon light of a lip being bitten, as well as furry furnishings, hot pink tones, a soft neon glow uplighting the bed area, and luxury golden touches throughout.

Love Island will return for its seventh series tonight at 9pm on ITV, with Laura Whitmore returning as host and 11 new Islanders set to enter the villa.
