Birmingham’s got an incredible craft beer scene. But few are doing it like Indian Brewery—with unique brews like Juicy Mango Pale Ale and Pekok Lager. And, having only expanded into new JQ premises last year (doubling as a brewery and taproom), it’s launching a third location at Birmingham Airport next year.
So, from February, holidaymakers through Birmingham Airport will be able to enjoy a range of craft beers on tap. Pair this with a hearty breakfast bacon, sausage and cheese naan sandwich, or one of the brand’s Indian-fusion pizzas. Or, sample new selections, like the butter paneer toastie and cheesy masala wedges.

The Indian Brewery Company has built its reputation on locally brewed Birmingham beers and a strong, innovative food offering. But faces a unique challenge adapting to the needs of airport dining—with Indian Brewery BHX also offering an exclusive range of Birmingham-made merchandise, including beer packs and t-shirts.
Jaspal Purewal, CEO, of The Indian Brewery Company, said: “We are super excited to be opening in Birmingham airport, creating more jobs and helping towards shining the light on Birmingham. As a local proud Brummie, I believe Indian Brewery BHX will be an amazing location, offering our locally brewed beers and incredible food to all passengers.”

Located within Birmingham Airport’s International Pier, adjacent to the departure lounge, the venue will feature a modern aesthetic while incorporating design elements suited to the airport. Construction and fit-out are currently underway, with the opening scheduled for February 2026.
“As the undisputed home of the ‘curry capital’, our region is often celebrated for its culinary contributions and thriving, vibrant food scene,” said Richard Gill, Commercial Director of Birmingham Airport. “With a tailored travel menu of award-winning craft beers and an innovative Indian fusion menu, the arrival of The Indian Brewery taps into this growing local hospitality scene.”
