It feels like summer today—and we’re feeling inspired in the garden and the kitchen! That’s why we’re excited to learn that two of the UK’s best-loved lifestyle events will come together for four spectacular days at the NEC Birmingham. BBC Gardeners’ World Live and Good Food Show Summer will unite once again from June 12 to 15, 2025.
Expect exciting new Show Gardens bursting with colour, as well as inspirational advice from green-fingered experts, like Monty Don, Frances Tophill, Rachel de Thame and Nick Bailey, from BBC Gardeners’ World Live. At the same time, Good Food Show Summer is serving a delicious line-up of chefs, tastings and workshops—with top names like James Martin, Lisa Faulkner and Si King.
What’s at BBC Gardeners’ World Live?
Following the popularity of last year’s headline ‘The Chef’s Table’, combining gardening and gastronomy, this year BBC Gardeners’ World Live will showcase Adam Frost’s Tasting Table. This unique, interactive and exclusive experience sees Adam bring flavours from the garden to life with the support of culinary experts and guest chefs from Good Food Show Summer.
To bring BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine’s Make a Metre Matter campaign to life, Nick Bailey has also designed a plastic and concrete-free garden. Elsewhere, you’ll find the International Orchid Show, mushroom growing masterclasses, the Hot Off the Potting Bench new plants gallery, alongside numerous displays and stages. BBC Gardeners’ World Live is packed with an impressive array of creative ideas.
What about the Good Food Show Summer?
The Big Kitchen is back, where food fans can look forward to live demonstrations from a line-up of world-class chefs and experts. Meanwhile, The Summer Kitchen is the perfect place to go if you’re looking to bring some sunshine to your cooking. Then, at the Let’s Talk Good Food Stage, catch the Good Food Podcast recording live with Sam Goldsmith and Barney Desmazery, and plenty of guests.
The Summer Workshops also return, including masala spice masterclasses and cocktail masterclasses. Plus, The Good Food Wine Club is the place to discover English wines and perfect summer pairings. And, of course, it wouldn’t be the Good Food Show Summer without the chance to shop from hundreds of incredible brands, artisan producers, and must-have foodie finds.
“Whether you’re looking for tips to spruce up your salad or reimagine summer staples, what better way to kick off the sunshine season than with a celebration of food at Good Food Show Summer!” said Rachael Bosshardt, Event Director at Good Food Show Summer. “Plus, you can enjoy browsing fantastic floral displays at BBC Gardeners’ World Live as part of your ticket too.”
