The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill is one of Birmingham’s most iconic restaurants. Located on the 25th floor of The Cube, it boasts the most beautiful views over Birmingham’s skyline, or it did, as the celebrity chef’s landmark venue has now closed after 15 years.
A sign outside reads: “We regret to inform you that, with immediate effect, The Cube Hotel and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill Birmingham have ceased trading and are now closed. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.”

The venue opened in 2011, shortly after The Cube’s launch, as part of Marco Pierre White’s national restaurant portfolio, serving a mix of classic British comforts and high-end steaks—proving popular for everything from anniversary celebrations to corporate events.
The four-star Cube Hotel, which is located below on the 23rd and 24th floors, has also closed. Beloved also for its unrivalled panoramic views and city centre location, The Cube Hotel hosted 52 boutique rooms and suites known for their luxury décor inspired by the local area.
