If you’re a parent of small children, you’ve definitely heard of ‘Bluey’, which has been helping provide those quieter moments at home. However, the smash hit character is coming to a real-life stage this year. Following a massive success of the ‘Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad’ UK tour, the beloved production is coming back by popular demand in the Olivier Award nominated live stage show, ‘Bluey’s Big Play’.
‘Bluey’s Big Play’ is heading to The Alexandra in Birmingham, March 4-8, 2026, featuring the original voices from the TV sensation. The tour is kicking off in Wycombe Swan on October 25, 2025 before going on to London, Glasgow, Dublin and many more UK dates. You can even catch it at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, July 23-26, 2026.

The award-winning show features expertly crafted puppets, and is packed with music, laughter, and fun for the whole family. Moreover, ‘Bluey’s Big Play’ boasts original voices from the TV sensation, featuring the well-known voices of Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti as Dad and Mum. However, the cast is yet to be announced, who will be commanding the “larger-than-life puppets”.
The plot follows the usual shenanigans, with Dad feeling like winding down in the afternoon, yet Bluey and Bingo have other plans. The original story is written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, and new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush. The show is produced by Andrew Kay and Cuffe & Taylor with Windmill Theatre Co for BBC Studios.

Natasha Spence, Events Director, Live Entertainment at BBC Studios, said: “The play’s last tour was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from audiences across the UK and Ireland. We can’t wait for more fans and families to experience the joy of seeing Bluey’s Big Play live on stage in a few months.”
Ben Hatton, Senior Vice President, Arts & Entertainment at Cuffe and Taylor, added: “We were thrilled with the incredible reception Bluey’s Big Play received in our previous tour, the response from our audiences was nothing short of magical. So we couldn’t be more excited to bring Bluey back to the UK again later this year.”
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, May 13, for Bluey Fan Club members with general sale tickets are going live on Friday, May 16. You can get your tickets here.
