New pop-up Blossom Bar has opened on National Pink Day.
As more restrictions are gradually being eased, Birmingham is flourishing once again. One addition that has bloomed in the city is brand new pink-themed pop-up bar and restaurant, Blossom Bar.
The floral and rose-hued bar has opened on the balcony at The Bullring and boasts brilliant views overlooking St Martin’s Church. It features six pink pagodas and six picnic tables, alongside numerous barstools and pink oil drum tables, for you and five of your friends to enjoy a well-deserved cocktail break in the sunshine.
Opening on June 23 (National Pink Day), the pink pop-up will be at The Bullring throughout the summer and will be serving glasses and pitchers of the classic summer cocktail, Pimm’s, as well as plenty of other drinks such as champagne, gin, rosé, beer and canned cocktails.
Blossom Bar will also be providing a food menu featuring local businesses such as loaded hot dogs from The Dog Father, as well as a selection of ice creams from Just Chillin. Decorated with leaves and cherry blossom in varying shades, as well as a good dose of pink decor, you’ll also find Selfridge’s latest cover complementing the pink paradise.
Located on a lawn on Spiceal Street, the bar offers the perfect backdrop for some Insta-worthy pics and there’s even a floral-clad wall to take snaps at. The pop-up, which will run until September 23, offers walk-ins for parties less than four, but recommends booking for groups of five or more, with bookings for pagodas open from July 1. The bar is open Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm, Thursday-Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-7pm, and you can book your slot here.
