If you haven’t heard of Archie’s yet, it’s time to get acquainted. Opening in Birmingham in March, Archie’s has finally put down roots in the Midlands after years of success in Manchester, and we absolutely cannot wait to get our gobs around one of their burgers.
Completely adorned in hot pink and practically made for Instagram, Archie’s is famous for its “shakes, ridiculously indulgent waffles and handmade smashed star burgers”, which all pay homage to comforting American cuisine.
Burger lovers may have had a taste of Archie’s already following a successful pop-up within Selfridges, which marked the brand’s first toe-dip in Brum – but now we can expect so much more from them, thanks to a whopping £750,000 overhaul of the former Cafe Nero site on Lower Temple Street.
If it’s anything like Archie’s Manchester’s flagship restaurant, home to a bright pink ball pit, banana swing and tons of Instagrammable booths that are sure to leave your feed poppin’, then the Birmingham branch is onto a winner. Celebs such as Jordyn Woods, Gemma Collins, and Floyd Mayweather have all been spotted at Archie’s Manchester restaurants, a testament to the restaurant’s popularity.
On the menu, diners can expect a huge array of halal burgers in all varieties – from beef to fried chicken, lathered with all-American toppings such as melted cheese, Cheetos, maple bacon and more.
Archie’s Birmingham can be found at 8-9 Lower Temple Street, Birmingham, B2 4DJ.
