Look outside; it’s all flat, grey sky and ambient rain. Summer’s over and Winter’s on its way. But while we navigate this seasonal limbo, let’s try to lift our spirits and start planning next year’s holiday. easyJet has announced two new routes from Birmingham Airport for summer 2027.
You can now book flights from Birmingham Airport directly to Milan in Italy and Tivat in Montenegro for next year. Flights to Milan Malpensa will start on March 29, 2027, ahead of the peak summer season, with departures twice a week on Mondays and Fridays; and flights to Tivat will launch from May 3, 2027, Mondays and Thursdays.

“We are excited to announce two brand-new routes and package holidays from Birmingham Airport to Italy and Montenegro, providing customers with even more choice for their next summer break,” said Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager. “We remain focused on offering even more flying to a range of destinations, always aiming to make travel easy.”
Why fly to Milan?
easyJet is the only carrier currently offering a direct route between Birmingham Airport and Milan Malpensa. Not only does it give you access to the Global Fashion Capital, but Milan provides the perfect gateway to northern Italy—do not miss the picturesque towns, spectacular scenery and lakeside charm of Lake Como.
Why fly to Tivat?

An underrated destination, Tivat, on Montenegro’s spectacular Bay of Kotor, lets you explore the country’s stunning Adriatic coastline, combining picturesque beaches, breathtaking mountain scenery and a stylish waterfront, as well as easy access to the historic town of Kotor.
“Tivat is ideal for slowing down and taking in its world-class marina and stunning scenery,” said Matt Hazelwood, Chief Commercial Officer at Birmingham Airport. “With tickets now on sale, I’m sure we’ll be seeing plenty of interest from Midland’s passengers eager to book their flights.”
Package holidays for both destinations can be booked with easyJet holidays, inclusive of flights and hotel, plus 23kg luggage and transfers on Tivat beach breaks.
