Looking for the fright of your life this Halloween? The Midland’s most terrifying scream park is back this October—filled with heart-racing thrill rides, seven blood-curdling attractions, and lurking characters around every corner. Screamfest has never been so fearsome as it celebrates 15 years of scares.
The scream park, which has just received silver in the UK Theme Park’s prestigious Scream Park of the Year awards, attracts over 30,000 visitors every year. This year’s fear-inducing adult-only fright nights, set across Staffordshire’s National Forest Adventure Farm, run for 14 days between October 9 and 31.
What screams can I expect?
Home to seven terrifying attractions, fan favourite Insomnia—where you enter a child’s nightmare—returns, while back by popular demand, the corn maze attraction Mutation Damnation returns for a second year, alongside Area 52, which sees you paintball battle across five acres in a terrifying alien apocalypse tractor trailer ride.
Brand new for 2026, the haunting Cortex 17 attraction welcomes volunteers for a clinical trial exploring the potential to unlock dormant psychic abilities—all set within a covert 1960s hospital. Meanwhile, Hellcatraz, famed as Screamfest’s “most intense attraction ever”, has you imprisoned with Hell’s worst inmates.
The other attractions include Freak Out, the funhouse that’s not as abandoned as it first looks, and Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo, where we advise that you don’t try and feed the animals (0 accident-free days this year). But Screamfest goers are in for so much more than just these attractions.
Expect a jam-packed evening of thrills and chills with live music, extreme fright acts, electric shock chairs, street food stalls serving homemade pizza, loaded fries and nachos, waffles and doughnuts, and multiple licensed bars serving gruesome cocktails.
Ivor Robinson, who runs Screamfest alongside his brother Tom, said: “2026 marks 15 terrifying years of Screamfest events, so of course we wanted to mark the occasion by launching our biggest and best Halloween event to date… Our team has been working on bringing this to life for almost a year. Screamfest 2026 is the Halloween event scare fans won’t want to miss.”
Tickets start from £34 per person, and from £43 per person for access to AREA 52. To get yours, head to the Screamfest website.
