It’s official. We’re absolutely buzzing for Christmas, and there’s still another two months to go! Since it was announced the Frankfurt Christmas Market would be returning this year, we’ve been quietly containing our excitement. But this latest announcement has pushed over the edge, however, and we can hide it no more.
Winter Funland, the UK’s largest indoor Christmas funfair, is heading back to Birmingham NEC on December 10 to January 2. The exhibition centre will be transformed over the Christmas period into a winter wonderland, without any worries of bad weather. So fish out your Christmas jumpers and book your tickets now.
Guests can expect plenty of thrills on the funfair rides, as Winter Funland brings in an assortment of attractions. Such as waltzers, a gigantic slide, dodgems, and much more. As well, there will be a gigantic ice skating rink to show off your spins and slick skills on. If you’re more of a Bambi on ice, skate instructors are available to assist you get to grips with the basics. While children have access to skating aids too.
The main man himself will be around every day until December 24. Father Christmas will be in his grotto welcoming children and making notes of their wish lists. Visits are additional £7, with slots pre-booked when purchasing your ticket. The circus will also be in town for a spectacular Christmas show, with clowns and acrobats showing off jaw-dropping talents.
No festive celebrations would be right without a Christmas market. A range of festive foods will be available to purchase across a number of stalls. Expect candy floss, mulled wine, sweets, as well as savoury foods such as burgers and hot dogs. Tickets are £26 each and £100 for a family of four.
