It’s official: We’re abs-ho-ho-ho-lutely buzzing for Christmas, but there’s a long way to go yet! That said, it’s only one month until Birmingham’s incredible Frankfurt Christmas Market is back in town, so we shouldn’t have to contain our excitement much longer., while the return of Winter Funland will follow shortly behind.
The UK’s largest indoor Christmas funfair will return to Birmingham NEC from December 7 to January 1, 2025. Don’t worry about the bad weather, because the exhibition centre is transformed over the festive period into a winter wonderland – with four hours of unlimited entertainment! So start knitting your Christmas jumpers and practising your ice skating skills now.
You can expect access to unlimited funfair rides – such as waltzers, slides and dodgems, and much more – and an enormous skating rink to show off your spins and tricks on. If you’re a bit of a Bambi on ice, skate instructors are available to assist you in getting to grips with the basics, while children can use skating aids too.
Make sure to check out the 1200-seater Christmas circus, with cheeky clowns and awesome acrobats amazing every day, and stick around for the jaw-dropping Globe of Steel. Plus, enjoy all the trimmings of a traditional circus you normally expect. Elsewhere, witness an amazing motorbike stunt show too!
Throughout Winter Funland, Santa’s mischievous elves will also be up to no good, and they do love a selfie! You may even catch a glimpse of the big man himself too, who’ll be dropping by to check in, say hello to the children and make notes of their wish lists.
And no festive celebration would feel right without a Christmas market. Here you’ll find a range of festive foods available to purchase across several stalls – expect candy floss, mulled wine, sweets, as well as savoury foods such as burgers and hot dogs.
Tickets are £31.50 each or £125 for a family of four (plus booking fee). To learn more about Winter Funland and purchase your tickets head here.
