Villa Park is hosting its very own three-day food, drink and entertainment festival this summer. The Flavour Playground brings together some of the Midlands’ best restaurants, drinks brands and live experiences—including Asha’s, Fumo, Kyoudai Ramen and Vietnamese Street Kitchen.
Hosted at The Sports Illustrated Warehouse (from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 16, 2026), you will be able to try everything from taster dishes from top local restaurants to interactive activities such as axe throwing, giant darts, bowling, golf and football simulators—all included in admission.
Other Birmingham restaurants taking part include Seafood City, The White Lion, The Mayan, Cylla and Colliery Smokehouse, while you can sample complimentary drinks from wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic brands, like Vinca Wines, Spirits of Anarchy, Hip Pop and Kingfisher.
You’ll also receive a ‘Flavour Passport’. Get a stamp at each vendor you visit to get special discounts/offers and access to exclusive tasting menus and chances to win VIP dining experiences. There’s also a special chance to win a coveted Harry Kane Golden Boot by showing off your penalty-taking skills!
Live music, DJs and entertainment will help keep the party atmosphere pumping throughout the festival, while the event itself will see all profits going to LoveBrum and University Hospitals Birmingham Charity. If all goes well, The Flavour Playground may become a permanent summer feature of Aston Villa’s calendar.
