If Christmas is the most magical time of year, there are a few more spellbinding places than these beautiful gardens during the festive season. Trentham Gardens will transform into a spectacle of interactive displays, captivating soundscapes and larger-than-life illuminations.
The all-new illuminated light trail, stretching over a mile, will illuminate these idyllic Italian gardens—promising plenty of photo opportunities and immersive features along the way. This is the Yuletide wonder with the whole family creaves as Christmas approaches.
When is the Trentham Winter Light Trail?

The light trail at Trentham Estate will take place from Friday, November 21, to Sunday, January 4. You can easily drive there from Birmingham via the M6, or, after taking the train to Stoke-on-Trent from Birmingham New Street, take the number 100 bus towards Stone Town Centre.
What is there to do there?
With over a mile of magical illuminations, captivating soundscapes and interactive displays, expect everything from sparkling tree lines, tunnels of light and giant illuminations throughout Trentham Gardens. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also find kids’ funfair amusements as well as the chance to toast your own marshmallows.

As we all know, Christmas can be hungry work. So make sure to head to the food village to savour delicious food from local, independent food vendors. Make sure to book your own cosy mini chalet for after, too, to sip on festive favourites like mulled wine, hot chocolate and frosty biers.
