The best thing about Christmas is the food and if anyone says otherwise, I just don’t believe them. I’m not sure we’ll ever get bored of the Yorkshire pudding wraps… That’s why we can’t wait for this Saturday (December 2) when Seasonal Markets bring together the best festive street food for The Christmas Feast.
Taking over The Bond, some of Birmingham’s best street food vendors will be turning up with some festive specials. That’s Mature will serve out Christmas lunch toasties (doused in gravy), while you can always guarantee something exciting from Original Patty Men and Yardbirds. Others at The Christmas Feast include Fat Snags, Broke ’N Bone BBQ, Disco Fries, The Bournville Waffle Company and There Goes Coffee.
It’s not just about the festive food, however, as there’ll be all sorts of merriment on offer. Alongside mouthwatering food, The Market Hall will be packed with local market traders selling unique gifts and treasures. Perfect present-hunting, you’ll find lots of handmade crafts, locally sourced goods, and one-of-a-kind artisanal creations. You’ll also be supporting some independent Brummie businesses too!
Elsewhere expect to get in the festive spirit with some live music and DJs, as well as some kid’s entertainment. Between 12pm-4pm, your little ones can listen to some mesmerising stories by Kate’s Story Tree. All you need to bring is your Christmas jumpers, festive spirit and a big appetite for food. The event will run in two sessions, 12pm-4pm and 4:30pm-8:30pm, with tickets costing £7.50 per person – but kids under 12 go free. To learn more about Seasonal Markets head here.
