Fancy yourself one of Tommy Shelby’s boys?
Then you’re in luck, because the official Peaky Blinders casting agents – LB Casting Ltd – are currently on the hunt for new extras to join the cast, with filming set to take place in Manchester.
And while the agency hasn’t exactly said which show they’re casting for, it’s pretty obvious, with a description detailing that they’re casting for “a very well-known BBC period drama”, a silhouette of a man donning Tommy Shelby’s famous flat cap on the ad and even a note to say the casting is “by order of LB Casting”.
The casting call reads: “We are looking for people based in the North of England to be part of a very well known BBC period drama shooting early 2021 in Manchester. All genders. All ethnicities. Age 16+.”
The ad then goes on to specify that they are “only looking for natural looks that can portray a true reflection of the time period being told”, with females required to have mid to shoulder-length hair, no dyed hair or obvious highlights, and be no bigger than a UK size 12.

For males, the agents are looking for males that do not have modern haircuts or fades, with no dyed hair or obvious highlights. Males should also be willing to shave hair if required, and have no modern beards or facial hair. The agents have also asked for males to apply with no bigger than a 44″ chest.
The hit show will be shot in Manchester despite being set in Birmingham so you will be expected to travel to the city outside peak times. Travel and accommodation are not provided and you will be expected to start early and finish late.
The casting call for extras in the new season of Peaky Blinders will remain open until 3rd January, 2021, with those interested urged to email apply@lbcastingltd.co.uk with current photos of themselves to apply.
