Birmingham does not lack in brilliant cocktail bars, taking inspiration from a whole world of mixology. But none are quite like second city’s latest offering. Noiré, which will open on Suffolk Street Queensway (in the former Bourne & Co) at an unspecified date, will bring a sense of the Land of the Rising Sun to Brum.
The last-night cocktail bar draws heavy inspiration from the distinctive aesthetic of Japanese speakeasies. Not only reflected in the decor but in the drinks too, Noiré’s curated menu is meticulously designed to showcase the flavours and craftsmanship of Japanese mixology. Expect an immersive experience for cocktail enthusiasts and late-night revellers alike.
“We are thrilled to introduce Noiré to the vibrant city of Birmingham,” said the owner of Noiré. “Our vision is to transport our guests to a world where craftsmanship, elegance, and entertainment intersect. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or looking for a place to party or celebrate, Noiré promises an experience unlike any other.”
Whether you’re after a classic concoction or an innovative fusion, each cocktail is crafted using premium spirits, fresh ingredients, and intricate techniques that pay homage to Japan. As for the bar’s sleek interior design, it will be complemented by soft lighting and stylish decor.
Looking for somewhere to throw down at the weekend? As the evening progresses, Noiré will transform from a relaxed atmosphere to a vibrant party destination. From 9pm until 3am, guests can cut shapes on the dancefloor as the cocktail bar seeks to invite some of the city’s best DJs to the stage.
