If there’s one thing we forget to do when the sun is shining, it’s to remember to eat enough. We’re often too busy running around drinking on rooftops and outdoor swimming to cool off. But next time you’re enjoying a cocktail or two in the Jewellery Quarter, make sure to remember about No21 Frederick Street’s 12 Weeks of Summer.
The independent cocktail bar has announced a new food pop-up event, happening from July until September. Providing hungry drinkers with rotating pop-up kitchens throughout the summer months. Expect an unforgettable range of cuisines, from sizzling street food to gourmet creations, there’ll be something for all food lovers!
12 Weeks of Summer launches this Friday (July 14) with The Mutton Man, serving up fresh Indian mutton-based curries and homemade samosas. Throughout August, every Sunday afternoon, Le Petit Bois is firing up the BBQ to bring you their famous Seafood Shack to No21’s front terrace. Tuck into native lobsters, scallops, king prawns and oysters, you just need to decide what Champagne to wash it down with!
On August 6, you’ll be transported to a Latin American carnival with Loco Brunch! This bottomless
brunch offers two hours of endless Mimosas and Pornstars & Strawberry Margaritas, plus dishes from LaVida Locas’ menu of Afra Latin Fusion including T-bone steaks and blackened salmon. DJs and performers will bring the carnival spirit. Tickets to this cost £35 for bottomless drinks, but £45 if you want food as well.
The likes of La Vida Loca, Mr Jerk, Cooking With Friends, The Brothers Greek, House Party BBQ, and many more will also set up shop at No21 across the summer. Many of these events are walk-ins only, so hurry down to not miss out! Where you’ll also be treated to the bar’s new summer cocktail menu and hear music from local DJs this summer.
