You can grab brand-new high street clothes at charity shop prices at this superstore just a stone’s throw from Birmingham. Newlife sells surplus stock—saving it from going to landfill—at just a fraction of the original price. And if that wasn’t enough, all profits help disabled and terminally ill children.
There are a handful of Newlife Stores throughout the UK, including one in Yardley. But for the best shopping experience, you may want to head about 20 miles north of Birmingham for the market town of Cannock, where there is a huge superstore combining three stores in one, offering a wide mix of products (Newlife Superstore, Newlife at Home and Newlife Plus+).

Here, you will not only find a range of clothes—from brands like New Look, Primark, River Island, White Stuff, Regatta, and Monsoon—but also homewares, electrical goods, and beauty products. Items may be end-of-season or end-of-line, while others may be returns or have minor faults, but you’re guaranteed a bargain.
What is Newlife?
Newlife is a charity that helps disabled children and their families with support, equipment, and play opportunities. Its work ranges from employing experienced nurses to run a national helpline to providing grants for specialist equipment, like wheelchairs, buggies, car seats, and beds. Every penny you spend supports this work.
How do I get here?

You can get a direct train from Birmingham New Street to Cannock station that takes 40 minutes, but from there it’s a 20-minute walk. Alternatively, if you prefer to drive, follow the M6 to Staffordshire, and take the exit toward Cannock and follow the A460 to the Newlife Superstore.
Newlife Superstore can be found on Hemlock Way in Cannock (WS11 7GF). It is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 10pm, Saturday, 9:30am to 8pm, and Sunday, 10:30am to 4:30pm. If you can’t make it out of Birmingham, the smaller Yardley store is located in the Yew Tree Retail Park, or you can shop Newlife online here.
