If you’re a Birmingham parent wondering what to do with the kids this Easter holidays, look no further than the National Forest Adventure Farm. It’s readying a whole Easter Eggstravaganza (April 11 – 25), full of Easter-themed activities, from lamb feeding to the UK’s longest outdoor tubing slide.
Closed over winter, the 200-foot Mega Slide Mountain is already infamous for reaching speeds of up to 12mph. So you’re guaranteed to feel the wind in your hair this Easter as you almost fly off the 30-foot hill. But, as we said, it’s not all there is to do at the ever-exciting National Forest Adventure Farm.
What’s at National Forest Adventure Farm this Easter?
First things first, the Adventure Farm invites you to hop aboard the Easter Eggspress Tractor & Trailer ride and journey to Bunny Woods. Here, you’ll meet a whole woodland of friendly characters and entertaining animals – including the Easter Bunny, who may have a chocolate treat for you!
Elsewhere, enjoy interactive Easter-themed shows on the mainstage, with award-winning family entertainer Josh Benson providing a mix of magic, juggling, balloonology and “daft comedy chaos”. Or, get up close with adorable springtime baby animals, and take part in lamb feeding and visit the Lambing Live tent.
Your ticket (£15.95) gives you access to everything the farm has to offer – including a huge indoor soft play, outdoor adventure zones, and plenty of farmyard animals. But the Mega Slide Mountain is an additional charge. And if you can’t make it down, take the time to check out the 24-hour ‘Ewe’ Tube live stream.
