Take a walk on the wild side at this new brunch spot.
Birmingham isn’t short of quirky and eclectic brunch options, and now there’s a brand new bar and restaurant arriving to serve an unbelievable bottomless brunch and more. Us Brummies come alive at the sound of ‘bottomless’ no matter what follows – let’s be honest – so it’s no surprise that when we caught wind of this elegant establishment coming to town our interest was piqued, to say the least.

Combining modern Oriental cuisine and the European chic of cocktail culture, Lulu Wild will replace the old Carluccio’s restaurant at Brindleyplace which closed last year. Open from September 13, the bar and restaurant will span two floors and provide an epic bottomless brunch experience featuring decadent and mouth-watering cocktails.
For those who enjoy refinery and elegance, but sexy and glam, this will be the place to be and the place to be seen this summer. Taking inspiration from both ancient Chinese style and contemporary cuisine, signature dishes at Lulu Wild will include black truffle roast duck with shimeji and roast free-range chicken in satay sauce.
Boasting neon lighting and an atmosphere reminiscent of China’s downtown streets, Lulu Wild promises to embody the refinery and elegance of modern Chinese culture with the adventurous spirit of Birmingham. Plus, all their visionary and delectable cocktails paired with modern Chinese cuisine, will be served up alongside an R&B soundtrack.
Owned by the same team behind Siamais in Oozells Square and Aluna at The Mailbox, this new opening promises to be an “Instagram paradise”. Like its sister restaurants, Lulu Wild is expected to bring plenty of cocktails full of theatrics featuring twists on traditional cocktails with a Chinese influence, such as their ginger mojito.
Each floor will have different interiors – a fresh daylight décor on the ground floor for brunching, as well as outside dining space dripping in fairy lights for al fresco dining, and upstairs will showcase a more dark and dramatic look. The bar and lounge area will have a night-time neon feel reminiscent of the downtown streets in China, plus it’s the ideal spot for some snaps.
So grab your friends and get ready to get wild with Lulu!
