Time to come clean: I’m stuck in a Birmingham ‘hidden gem’ imbroglio, where in the age of the internet, very few things feel like a secret anymore. A quick ask of AI and it suggests the Birmingham Back to Backs, Bacchus Bar and Winterbourne House & Garden, which are all great, but they’re hardly hidden, are they?
But my latest find really does feel like a ‘hidden gem’. There’s no website to speak of, hardly any social media presence or photos we can use (so forgive the few we do), but just because no one’s talking about it doesn’t mean it’s not worth visiting. Because Little Twinnies Farm is a true diamond.
You will find this budget petting farm (complete with its own farm shop) on the other side of Dudley (on Chase Road), and it’s reopening this Easter for a short window of time (March 28 to April 12). With a minimum entrance fee of just £2 (cash only too), you won’t find a better bargain than that.
Why visit Little Twinnies Farm?

Alright, so we’ve already said a lot without really explaining what Little Twinnies Farm offers. Perfect for families with littles one, it’s home to lambs, goats, chickens, rabbits and lots of other lovely baby animals for Easter. ‘Tis the season of rebirth after all, and there’s no better time (or opportunity) to get up close with cute farm animals.
If that wasn’t enough, the Black Country farm is getting in the Easter spirit with holiday games, free chocolate and a visit from the Easter Bunny. It also boasts its very own farm shop, where you can pick up things like strawberries, honey and fresh eggs. Just open for two weeks (10am to 4pm every day), get down while you can.
