Throw your hands in the air to the sunset sounds of Balearic house this Sunday because it’s going to be hotter than Ibiza in Birmingham. It doesn’t look like it right now, what with all the rain and clouds and such, but the Second City is about to be hit with a sunny spell this Bank Holiday weekend.
On Friday (May 22), temperatures look set to reach a stunning 25°C (according to the Met Office), which is likely to send every Brummie flocking to the nearest rooftop bar and beer garden. In Ibiza Town, holidaymakers on the famous party island will only get to experience a 22°C heat.
With a bit more cloud cover, the temperature will drop to 23°C on Saturday (May 23), but will rise back up to 25°C on Sunday (May 24), staying above Ibizan temperatures the whole weekend (22°C on Saturday, 23°C on Sunday). Although, as weather app addicts know all too well, it won’t “feel like” 25°C.
What will the weather ‘feel like’?
On Sunday, based on factors such as wind speed and humidity, Brummies will feel a daily high of 23°C and a daily low of 12°C. This is a wild difference compared to Ibiza’s steadier 22°C high and 20°C low. UV levels look to be lower in Birmingham, too, but you should still seek shade, cover up and wear sunscreen during midday hours.
Where is the Ibiza party in Birmingham this weekend?

As if the party gods are listening, Birmingham’s legendary super-club brand, Godskitchen, returns from celebrating its 25th anniversary at Amnesia in Ibiza with its first UK show since 2022 on Sunday—with the likes of Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, and Sander Van Doorn, they’re bringing the weather with them, it seems!
