Greggs is rewinding to the 90s this Christmas with a massive event in Birmingham. For all mega-fans of sausage, bean & cheese melt (and who isn’t?), the British bakery chain is throwing a series of Christmas parties across the UK with massive headliners, festive-themed cocktails and more cheesy hits than you could shake a sausage roll at.
Greggs presents: The Festive Rewind is a three-part throwback party, with each event inspired by a different iconic decade of music. It will kick off with Bake to the 80s in Glasgow at The Engine Works on November 30. But will be in Birmingham for Bake to the 90s on December 8 – spicing up your life with the ultimate 90s hits at Secret Space in Digbeth. Bake to the 00s will complete the trifecta in London at Protein Studios on December 15.
Steeping up from last year’s sell-out Festive Bake Brunch series, The Festive Rewind will also invite three huge, decade-appropriate headliners to ensure Greggs burns the roof of our mouth blows the roof off the house. 80s legend Martin Kemp will be in Glasgow, 90s powerhouse HedKandi in Birmingham, and 00s superstars Steps’ H and Claire in London will all take to the DJ decks.
Playing across all three events, Hunsnet’s Gareth Howells will also be DJing a mix of ultimate Christmas hits and nostalgic anthems. You’ll also be able to get your hands on pizza slices from Greggs’ very own Pizza Van, as well as complimentary Christmas cocktails. You can also bust your moves at the ‘Festive Bake Bar’.
Each of Greggs’ Christmas parties will last two-and-a-half hours from 4.30pm. Tickets cost a £10 booking fee, but this will be refunded upon attendance! A link to tickets for Greggs Presents: The Festive Rewind will go live on Greggs’ social channels from 10am on Friday, November, 17. So keep an eye out for it!
