We do love our doggies in Birmingham. Pup-Up Cafes paw-fect for dachshunds and small dogs have proven very popular among Brummies. But our larger four-legged friends need just as much (if not more) love and attention. Especially our gorgeous golden retrievers! Luckily for us, a lovely Golden Retriever Cafe is coming to Birmingham later this summer.
Following super-successful events in London, POP+BARK will bring the ultimate Golden Retriever Cafe to the Resorts World on Saturday, July 8. Taking place within the World Bar, the entire venue will become an off-lead social experience for all Golden Retrievers and goldie-loving humans in the Midlands.
You can bring your four-legged friend and experience the world’s only Pupuccino Bar, where your Goldie can enjoy all sorts of dog-friendly toppings, from fresh blueberries to peanut butter sprinkles. Rudi’s The Doggy Barkery will also be serving beautifully iced pupcakes, dognuts, jammy doggers and more. A spacious turfed balcony also means all the dogs can grab a breath of fresh air!
There will also be doggy-sized furniture, fun props, and photo opportunities, giving
your Golden Retriever a chance to pose and bask in all the attention they deserve. While your Golden Retrievers play, you can mingle with like-minded owners who share their love for this amazing breed, and meet the local community. This event is open to all dog lovers, whether you have your own or not. While the humans in the room will also have access to brunch, lunch, coffee and cocktails!
“The Golden Retriever Cafe is a safe, off-lead experience where Golden Retrievers can roam,
explore, and play with other Goldies” said co-creator Anushka Fernando . “With heaps of cute photo opportunities, doggy furniture, and props, the event promises to be a recipe for the happiest party ever!”
Josh Cox, Manager at The World Bar, adds “The World Bar team at Resorts World are excited
to host this latest in a series of events with Pop+Bark. Although dogs are not normally able to
visit us, we are thrilled to be able to welcome our four-legged friends for special events such as these.”
