The action-packed, unmissable competition, The Hundred, has turned world-class cricket into blockbuster entertainment. With just six weeks to go until the tournament returns to Edgbaston Stadium, players Usman Tariq, Davina Perrin and Jordan Thompson have lit the official Birmingham Phoenix Flame.
The countdown is now on to the first double-header home match on Friday, July 24, against rivals Trent Rockets. And fans of the local franchise—one of eight franchises to compete in The Hundred, with both men’s and women’s teams—now have the opportunity to win tickets to a Birmingham Phoenix home game.
How do I win?

Taking inspiration from major sporting events, like the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, as well as Birmingham’s industrial heritage, the new Phoenix Flame represents a “shared unity with the city.” You will now find it at the Bullring Skechers Store in the build-up to The Hundred.
To be in with a chance of winning tickets to a Birmingham Phoenix home game, plus a brand-new kit, all you have to do is head down to Skechers and share a photo of yourself with the Phoenix Flame, tagging @birminghamphoenix on Instagram. You have until Friday, July 3, to do so.

“The Phoenix flame is really cool,” said Phoenix all-rounder Jordan Thompson. “It’s great to have a massive company like Skechers as our partner and the Phoenix Flame, which I’m sure the fans will love just as much as us. It’s an amazing addition to the team, and truly represents us, what we stand for, and the spirit of the city.”
When are Birmingham Phoenix’s fixtures?
Birmingham Phoenix’s 2026 home fixtures are against Trent Rockets (Friday, July 24), Welsh Fire (Saturday, August 1), Sunrisers Leeds (Friday, August 7), and MI London (Wednesday, August 12). If you’re not lucky enough to win tickets, prices for all four home fixtures start at just £5 for children and £14 for adults, here.
