No one’s going to say no to free pizza and Negronis, are they? This September, the Manchester-born pizzeria Rudy’s is turning Negroni Week (September 21 to 27) into a month-long celebration—including at Birmingham’s Harborne, Brindleyplace, and Bennetts Hill locations.
How do I get free pizza and Negronis?
To celebrate the iconic Italian cocktail, Rudy’s has launched a limited-edition retro football shirt. Every time you wear it to a Rudy’s pizzeria throughout September, you are rewarded with a free pizza and Negroni. Inspired by the golden era of Italian football, the exclusive Rudy’s FC jersey is priced at £60, but quickly pays for itself.

One for football shirt collectors, a tonal checkerboard pattern and rich orange gradient nod to the Negroni itself, while finished with a vintage-inspired collar and embroidered Rudy’s FC crest, the shirt is designed for a relaxed, comfortable fit. Hidden in the hem, a woven label also reveals the classic Negroni recipe.
You can pick one up online and at Rudy’s pizzerias nationwide from September 1. But the Negroni celebrations don’t stop there. Rudy’s is also partnering with Campari, Cocchi Vermouth and Malfy Gin for a limited-edition Negroni menu across its restaurants, but you will have to head down yourself to see what’s on it.

“The Negroni has always been a big part of Rudy’s,” said Neal Bates, Managing Director at Rudy’s. “We love it because it’s one of Italy’s most iconic cocktails, rooted in tradition but with plenty of room for creativity, which is why we love putting our own spin on it every September.
“The shirt came from that same appreciation for Italian culture, mixing our love of pizza, football and aperitivo into something our customers could actually wear. The response over the last two years has been brilliant.
“We’ve seen guests coming back in last year’s shirts, asking when the next one is dropping, so bringing it back for a third year felt like the obvious thing to do. If we can reward them with a pizza and Negroni every time they wear it, even better.”
