England’s first SuperPark is opening at Birmingham’s Star City. Having already opened a site at Braehead in Glasgow at the end of August, construction has now begun to transform the former Genting Casino into a 30,000 ft² multi-activity indoor park at the turn of the year.
Offering three colourful and inviting zones of fun for children aged 3 years and up, SuperPark hopes to breathe new life into the popular leisure destination. Expect 30-plus activities, including football and freestyle sports, aimed at children, teens, and adults, and for everyone of all backgrounds and abilities.

“Subject to our building schedule remaining on track in the next few months, we plan to open SuperPark Birmingham at the turn of the year,” said Jonathan Doherty, Managing Director of SuperPark UK. “We are extremely pleased to be bringing this incredible, fully inclusive, family attraction concept to Star City.”
He added: “There’s nothing passive whatsoever in SuperPark’s offering. Parents and children move, play and succeed side by side. You use your own body, you laugh, you learn. The result is more than just fun: it supports physical wellbeing, social interaction and mental confidence through shared, active experiences.”

A global indoor leisure and recreation concept founded in 2012 in Finland, SuperPark now has twenty-nine parks across the world, including Finland, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. New parks are also scheduled to open in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong during 2026.
Tom Barnes, the Centre Manager at StarCity, said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming SuperPark to StarCity. This is another significant addition to the centre, further strengthening and expanding the range of leisure and entertainment experiences we offer our customers.”
