After something that’s equal parts jaw-droppingly glamorous and outrageously hilarious this weekend? Look no further than the first festival of its kind in the UK, Birmingham Drag and Burlesque Festival, taking over the Second City from November 6 to 8, 2026, with a showcase of extraordinary international performers.
‘Birmingham’s Queen of Burlesque’, Dominus Von Vexo, founder of House of Allure, has fast become one of the city’s most in-demand burlesque and drag artists—appearing everywhere from Birmingham Pride to Channel 4 and beyond. They’ve brought together a powerhouse of entertainment for this debut festival.
“I am ecstatic to be launching and producing the first festival of its kind, right here in Birmingham! My home town!” said Dominus Von Vexo. “Celebrating our wonderful city and these utterly energetic, expressive art forms. After selling out numerous shows across the city…
“I felt it was time to make this dream a reality! Birmingham is in for a treat and I can’t wait to boost the platform of Birmingham’s artistic talent… we are after all the second biggest city. It will be a fabulous, creative and authentic display of local, national and international skill… I simply can’t wait!”
