Back when nightclubs were no-go areas during COVID, Dom Whiting found an unusual way to get the UK dancing. By blasting drum & bass on his bike, the ‘mobile’ DJ has clocked up over 108M views and amassed 884k followers online for his now-legendary bike raves.
Today (Wednesday, October 28), he’s cycling into Birmingham on his D’n’B bike. Catch him going down Bristol Road. Hundreds of music-loving students are likely to join Dom for his latest cycle, celebrating the easy, clean journey from the new Fusion Students building on Bristol Road to the University.
This isn’t the first time Dom has brought his DJ sets to the city. He said, “Birmingham was epic when I visited a few months ago, so I’m delighted to return”, to the joy of his fans. “The weather looks like it’s going to be dry, so I’m expecting a nice social ride.”
The route:
Dom Whiting’s Drum & Bass On The Bike will begin at the University of Birmingham on Vincent Road on Wednesday, October 28. The route will set off at 1pm down the cycle route before arriving at the new Fusion Students accommodation building on Bristol Road, ending at 3pm.
