You’ll be falling for this dessert.
The leaves in Birmingham are gradually changing from shades of green to oranges, reds and browns as autumn gets well and truly underway. And one Birmingham foodie business is getting on board the autumn train by creating an Instagrammable dessert that is the epitome of the season.
De La Crèm, the dreamy dessert shop and café on Temple Row, has made a sweet treat which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the season of fallen leaves and auburn hues. Brummies can indulge in a pumpkin spice latte flavoured soft serve filled in a hollowed out munchkin pumpkin to really give that autumnal feel.
Expect flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves all mixed with this soft and creamy dessert in an adorably cute pumpkin. And of course, to finish this autumnal treat by De La Crèm, it’s topped with a stick of cinnamon.
As well as serving up this seasonal special, De La Crèm offers a whimsical blossom tree dessert- a pot of soft serve ice cream, topped with a soil of Oreo crumbs, with a cloud of pink vanilla candyfloss held in place with a trunk of chocolate flake. You’ll also find ice cream cones on fluffy beds of candyfloss in an array of pastel colours and flavours such as exotic mango, matcha Oreo, Kashmiri pink tea, zesty lemon and even sterling silver hazelnut.
De La Crèm, which opened in February this year, not only serves ice cream as you’ll also find the likes of pancakes, brownies and cheesecakes, plus shakes and lattes topped with likes of Fruit Loops cereal, ice gems and marshmallows. The café offers savoury dishes including paninis, toasties, burgers, wedges, nachos, samosa chaat and a Full English breakfast on Saturdays.
