Just when we thought we’d seen it all when it comes to pizzas in Birmingham, a new pizzeria known for their outrageous toppings and bottomless menu offerings has arrived in the city. The pizza restaurant loved by Northerners in Liverpool and Manchester, Crazy Pedro’s, has opened its doors in Digbeth, taking over a super cool 5000sq ft space in The Custard Factory.
Renowned for its headline grabbing pizza creations such as Crème Eggs on pizza and Chippy Tea with curry sauce, the late night party bar will be serving up 16” New York style pizzas all day with slices available until 3am. The menu will also be home to its infamous 24” pizza, a whole 452 square inches worth of pizza goodness and we’re drooling at the thought.
Crazy Pedro’s also specialises in all things tequila and mezcal, showcasing one of the largest agave collections in the UK, and the Digbeth venue is also serving up frozen Margaritas on tap 7 days a week. Birmingham will be the fourth Crazy Pedro’s venue in the UK, following huge success in Manchester and Liverpool, where the brand enjoys a cult-following.
Just like the Crazy Pedro’s venues up North, the Birmingham pizza parlour brings its renowned deal of serving bottomless pizza slices alongside unlimited beer, prosecco and frozen margaritas every single day. Working on a slice-by-slice basis, guests will be able to chow down on unlimited pizza slices for 90 minutes, with the choice of any of the above drinks to wash it all down with. The only rule is you finish the slice and drink you have before getting another.
To celebrate’ brand new restaurant site, Camden Town Brewery has brough back a very special beer it brewed in collaboration with Crazy Pedros, Pedro’s Party Brew. The pale ale has been designed to perfectly match with pizza. Light and citrusy, it’s our go-to choice for washing down any bonkers pizza Crazy Pedro’s serves up on your plate.
Jobe Ferguson, owner of the Liar’s Group which Crazy Pedro’s is a part of, said: “We’ve been eyeing up sites in Birmingham for a while now. When we came across the space at The Custard Factory we knew we had found ‘the one’. We can’t wait to introduce Digbeth and the rest of Birmingham to Crazy Pedro’s and our late night pizza party concept.”
