On Lower Seventh Street sits the bloody brilliant BONEHEAD restaurant. It can only seat 36 people at a time, but trust me when I say, it serves some seriously cracking chicken. They don’t take bookings because it’s such a small restaurant, but it’s well worth the wait for some freshly-fried deliciousness.
However, for quite some time now whilst the restaurant carries out renovation works, BONEHEAD has only been available for customers to order for delivery or collection but things are soon about to change. BONEHEAD recently announced on social media that it will be opening its doors once more from April 21, allowing those to dine in and feast on their tasty offerings.
Taking to Instagram, BONEHEAD posted: “It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for! Finally we can announce with the greatest of pleasure that the absolutely brilliant @boneheadbham will be re-opening its doors for dining in mid-April. Huzzah!”
The Bonehead menu features photo-worthy chicken dishes in the form of strips, wings and burgers. The menu is simple but tasty, with the option of a spicy Nashville hot sauce drizzled on the burger or on the side.
The burgers look divine, crammed with spiced, fried chicken, lettuce and optional blue cheese. Plus, for those health-conscious (pffft) chicken lovers, you can order breast and wing or leg and thigh with a simple side of coleslaw and pickles.
And no burger or wings is complete without some fries and the ones at BONEHEAD take the form of crispy waffle fries (with the option of adding hothead seasoning) as well as potato tots laced with the likes of garlic mayo or buffalo and blue cheese sauces. They also have a fully-stocked bar so that you can enjoy a cold craft beer with your chicken.
