We’re as heartbroken as you are to not see Black Sabbath one last time in the flesh. The pioneers of heavy metal will go ‘Back to the Beginning’ with a final performance at Villa Park on Saturday, July 5—with all four original members on stage together, what’s already being described as “the greatest heavy metal show ever.”
If seeing Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward play together for the first time in 20 years wasn’t enough. The Birmingham band will see support from the likes of Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, Mastodon and Rival Sons.
The all-day event will also feature a supergroup of musicians consisting of Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Tom Morello and many, many more. As you’d expect, this event sold out months ago, and the chances of you getting a ticket now are less than getting an Aston Villa season ticket next year. But there’s still a way to watch…
Black Sabbath’s ‘Back to the Beginning’ livestream:
