From exciting street food to mindblowing Michelin-star fare, Birmingham’s culinary scene amazes at every level. But the best way to grab a bite of it all is to attend the annual Birmingham Restaurant Festival. In its 5th year, the foodie fest will return throughout the whole of August, offering exclusive menus at incredible value.
With 29 restaurants revealed so far, and many more to follow, Birmingham Restaurant Festival invites diners to make as many reservations as they like—and take advantage of a variety of lunch and dinner menus on offer at the Second City’s very best food and drink hotspots in the city.
Who is taking part in the Birmingham Restaurant Festival?

Joining the festival line-up again, this time with a shiny new Michelin star, The Wilderness will give you the chance to experience the team’s signature rock and roll fine dining. They are also joined by newcomer Vieni, where Sicilian dishes from chef Angelina Adamo have been receiving rave reviews since opening at The Goodsyard.
Three of the restaurants voted by festival-goers as having the best menus during Birmingham Restaurant Festival 2025 are also returning for the 5th iteration:
- 670 Grams, nestled in the heart of Digbeth’s Custard Factory, sees Michelin-trained chef Kray Treadwell curate innovative tasting menus using the best local produce.
- Adams, a British fine dining restaurant in the heart of Birmingham, has held its Michelin star for 12 years, serving elegant modern dishes through accessible tasting menus.
- Cow & Sow, the contemporary steakhouse, serving prime cuts, small plates and the finest of ingredients, was a firm favourite for festival-goers.

But the city-wide celebration doesn’t stop there: From 24 Stories, the fine-dining restaurant in the sky, in the city centre, to Italian neighbourhood gem Trentina in the Jewellery Quarter, and the best of British produce at Chapter in leafy Edgbaston, diners can expect an eclectic Birmingham’s culinary diversity on show.
Other restaurants in the line-up include Isaac’s, The Oyster Club, Txikiteo, The Jam House, Primitivo Bar & Eatery, Hotel Du Vin, Gaucho, Regina’s, Flight Club, Chez Mal Bar & Brasserie, The Cosy Club (Bennetts Hill), Chung Ying Cantonese, Restaurant At The Woods, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, Noel’s Bar & Restaurant, Siamais, Lulu Wild, The Alchemist, Zindiya and Pho.
What else do I need to know?

The final restaurant line-up will be revealed closer to the event, while festival menus will go live on June 18. In the meantime, Birmingham Restaurant Festival has also launched a new, all-year-round initiative, Birmingham Food Tours—led by passionate local foodies and includes tastings and drinks.
The first tour, A Taste of Birmingham, is a guided four-hour experience introducing the city’s rich food heritage. Making stops at six handpicked eateries in both the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham City Centre, A Taste of Birmingham will run on Saturday afternoons from April 16 (£99pp) via the Birmingham Restaurant Festival website.
