Sorry Blues fans, but now Aston Villa has another win over the club. Not content with competing with Europe’s elite or hosting the final ever Black Sabbath show, it’s launching a brand-new store in Birmingham’s iconic shopping centre, the Bullring – scheduled to open in May 2025.
Conveniently situated next door to Selfridges and alongside the likes of Sephora, the Aston Villa Bullring store will span 10,000 square feet across a ground and mezzanine floor. The store’s design will take inspiration from Villa Park, including a nod to the Holte End woven into the space, while also integrating a museum section.
The new shop will stock items like Villa’s home, away, and third kits, training wear, lifestyle collections, and exclusive limited-edition releases. Plus, features a significant collection from the club’s official kit partner, Adidas, spanning footwear and apparel across running, training, football, Originals, women’s, and kids’ ranges.
“Retail continues to play a pivotal role in the strategic vision for Aston Villa,” said David Asquith, Vice President of Retail at Aston Villa. “The Bullring store represents a major step in that journey, offering fans and sports enthusiasts a dynamic shopping experience that seamlessly combines sport, lifestyle, and club heritage.”
Aston Villa is also introducing ‘Aston Works,’ an area dedicated to product personalisation, where fans can customise their purchases with bespoke designs. The flagship club store aims to create an “immersive and interactive shopping experience”, and reinforce the club’s ambitions to rejoin the elite of English and European football.
