If you’re after somewhere that has enough space and variety to satisfy all your friends, a food hall is your best bet. These spacious and relaxed environments, with multiple food options available, can squeeze in big groups and cater all tastes. But for the best food hall in Birmingham? Look no further than Asia Asia Foot Hall in the Chinese Quarter.
EnjoyTravel.com recently named it among top 20 food halls in the UK. “The best food halls blur the lines between street food and restaurants, with multiple restaurants and food retail spaces under one roof,” says EnjoyTravel.com. “There are plenty of perks to the latest trend – no awkward bill splitting, no tiptoeing around fussy friends and the chance to taste some of the region’s finest produce for a happily affordable price.”
Asia Asia Food Hall was the only Birmingham joint to make the list. But was highlighted for bringing flavours from across the Asian continent to the heart of England’s second city, where it occupies two storeys of an abandoned 1960s office block. “The food hall offers up everything from authentic Uyghur dishes to Thai, South Korean and Japanese meals. You can also find some of Asia’s favourite beers and soft drinks, as well as a green (matcha) whippy ice cream.”
