You will find adidas stores in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and even York. Heck, there’s even an outlet in Cannock of all places. But there hasn’t been one in Birmingham since its New Street location shut in 2018. But the sportswear giant is set to return to the Second City just in time for Christmas.
Hoardings for adidas have appeared at Resorts World Birmingham over the weekend (Friday, September 11). Located next to the Nike Factory Store at the leisure and entertainment complex beside the NEC, this means visitors will soon find two of the biggest names in sports apparel under one roof.

The new 8125 sq ft outlet store will be one of its kind, where you will not only find a wide range of outlet-priced stock but also a curated full-price collection—including adidas running, fashion and football gear. While there’s no official opening date yet, Brummies can look forward to the new opening ahead of the festive season.
Jason Kirsch, Director of Operations at Resorts World Birmingham, said: “Bringing an adidas outlet to Resorts World is a real time of excitement for the destination and for the city. Having them open right next to Nike means. Best of all, shoppers will be able to enjoy finding their favourite sportswear and fashion at outlet prices!”
