It might feel like Pride comes around earlier and earlier every year. But, this time you’d be right. While last year’s celebration of all things LGBTQ+ took place in September of 2022, Birmingham Pride 2023 will be back in May bigger and better than ever.
Birmingham Pride 2023 will take place on May 27 & 28, with plenty of revelry lined-up over the two-day celebrations. The likes of B*witched, Atomic Kitten and Boney M were revealed to be playing the Sunday back in March, but the full-line-up for the Saturday has been announced too.
None other than Sugababes – original line-up too – will headline this year’s Saturday night at Birmingham Pride 2023. The full line-up of performers, across all stages, has been revealed. They’ll be joined by the likes of Samantha Mumba, Cat Burns, Mae Muller and more.
Of course it’s not all about the partying. The Birmingham Pride Parade will also return over the weekend. A statement for equality and justice, as well as a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community’s contribution to the city, it remains just as important. It will contain ten of thousands of participants, walking, marching or aboard decorated floats. While it is expected to be enjoyed by more than 75,000 spectators lining the street.
