Feeling under pressure? Want to break free from the shackles of a stressful work week? This is the answer. Candlelight: A Tribute to Queen puts the beloved anthems of the band in the spotlight once more. Coming to the stunning St Paul’s Church on July 15, a talented string quartet will be performing classical renditions of Queen’s biggest hits in a sensational evening that will have you scouring the internet for a lemon-yellow leather jacket and dusting off your vinyls. Book your seat today.
The lineup features all the favourites, including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, and Who Wants To Live Forever. The Artume Quartet will be surrounded by flicking candlelight, making the evening even more mesmerising. It will only be a matter of minutes before you are singing along under your breath – the iconic melodies and lyrics of Queen popping up in your head like a visit from an old friend.
As if the stunning music and candlelight weren’t enchanting enough, the architecture of St Paul’s Church will most definitely impress. The soft glow of candlelight will transform the building into a more intimate setting, highlighting only the performers on the stage and gleaming off the gilded detailing.
There will be two performances on the evening of July 15; one at 6:30pm and the other at 8:30pm. Doors will open 45 minutes before the hour-long show starts, giving you time to grab a drink and sink into a seat. If you get tickets to Candlelight: A Tribute to Queen you’ll be having a good time. In fact, you’ll be having a ball.
